Students auditioning for the HRO for the first time will need to prepare a short video audition, no longer than 8-10 minutes, with two contrasting pieces of music.
In your video, before you begin playing, please say or show the date. This can be done on your phone or with the day's newspaper.
Please title your video with your name, instrument, and class year—for example, Federico_Cortese_Violin_24.
Audition videos should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org by September 15th.
Once we receive it, we'll send you an email to schedule a 5-minute meeting with Maestro Cortese.
Please check your email for information on reauditioning and continuing with the orchestra. If you have not received this email, please reach out to a member of the HRO Executive Board as soon as possible. Thank you!
