Auditions for the 210th season of the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra will take place from Sunday, August 27th, through Tuesday, August 29th. Here's how things will work!
- To sign up for an audition, please fill out the form linked here.
- Auditions will take place in Paine Hall inside Harvard's Music Building. The auditions will be held by our conductor, Federico Cortese, and our head teaching fellow, Adrian Slywotzky.
- Each audition is 10 minutes long, and you should prepare 2 contrasting pieces. Yes, you could play 2 movements from the same piece, but the main idea is to see your stylistic range and ability in different pieces; two different works of music would be preferred.
- Please show up at least 10 minutes before your audition. Sign-in and warm-up rooms will be located in the basement (you'll see us when you come down).
After you fill out the form with your preferred time slots, you will receive an email telling you your exact 10-minute audition time. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our president, NaYoung Yang '18, at email@example.com or our vice president, Erica Chang '19, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Good luck, and we hope we will have the chance to work with you this year in HRO!
